In this talk, I will introduce the research projects being conducted at ByteDance Research. Our goal is to spearhead the development of cutting-edge technologies in AI. Currently, we are focusing on research in several areas, including robotics, AI for science, responsible AI, and AI foundations. I will explain some recent advancements in our research on LLM-based dialogue, vision language models, quantum chemistry, AI for drug design, and robotics.
Dr. Hang Li is the Head of Research at ByteDance Technology. He is an ACM Fellow, ACL Fellow, and IEEE Fellow. He graduated from Kyoto University and received his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo. Prior to ByteDance, he worked at NEC Research, Microsoft Research Asia, and Huawei Noah's Ark Lab. His areas of research include natural language processing, information retrieval, machine learning, and data mining.
