This workshop explores Chinese-style humor through memes, stickers, chat bubbles, and literary works. From self-mocking jokes and understated sarcasm to the wit of “lie-flat” culture, we will uncover how humor entertains, critiques, and connects. Along the way, participants will gain insight into the subtle language and cultural contexts that shape Chinese communication.
