With an emphasis on the current Memory is Medicine project, this seminar first highlights two early Urban Health projects: Climate Amenity and Obesity, and Geographic Determinants of Preterm Birth, that were carried out by Prof. Lin. It shows that geographic factors can 1) mediate physical activity to affect obesity, 2) program the epigenetics of preterm birth, and 3) potentially slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease.
