Staff Volunteering for Beach Clean-up and Inter-company Ocean Research Facility Visit 

The HKUST seafront has become the perfect place for students to gather, chill and even exercise. It is also the home to many marine and shore animals. However, waves bring garbage to the shore and can damage the marine ecosystems.

This year, the Human Resources Office and Sustainability/Net-Zero Office are taking part in the Inter-Company Volunteer Week 2004 organised by NGO Time Auction. As staff member, you can join us to clean up the beach and prevent the debris from being washed back into the sea. You'll help collect trash on the beach to restore the beautiful shoreline. An educational tour at our Tour at our Coastal Marine Laboratory will be arranged before the clean-up. You will have the opportunity to learn about HKUST's cutting-edge facilities for frontier marine science research in Hong Kong and other parts of Southern China.,
