Recruitment of HKUST Red Bird Racing (EVRT) 2022-2023

Who are we?

We are HKUST’s official Electric Vehicle Racing Team, “Red Bird Racing”. The name Red Bird comes from the “Red Bird Sundial”, representing HKUST.

We are a team of students passionate in motorsport, cars and technology. We aim to build an electric race car to compete in the electric vehicle category of “Formula Student” competitions hosted around the world. Our goal this year is to build a competitive vehicle to compete in the 2023 Formula Student events in Europe.

In the virtual competition of FSUK, 2021, we achieved phenomenal goals, placing as CHAMPION in both the “Lap Time Simulation” and “Virtual Race Competition”, as well as scoring 3rd in the Vehicle Engineering Design.

We are currently looking for people in various sub-teams. We welcome ANYONE who is interested and passionate in cars, motorsport, business planning, management, software engineering, vehicle electronics and more!
