Reach Out to Migrant Domestic Workers 樂也「傭」融義工活動 (Oct 2025)

In Hong Kong, around 400,000 migrant workers left their hometown to work in Hong Kong as migrant domestic helpers. Partnering with PathFinders, volunteers will distribute resource cards and chat with domestic helpers to gain insights into their lives and raise their awareness of maternity rights.
在香港,約有40萬外來勞工背井離鄉來港從事家庭傭工工作。義工將在融幼社大使的帶領下,落區派發物資包並和她們交流,進一步了解她們的生活,同時提高她們對生育權益的意識。

# You are required to attend the whole service program, including Briefing, Service & Debriefing.
Remark:1. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email from connect@ust.hk, and will be able to find their application status listed as "Confirmed" on the Social Career portal/app.
2. [Penalty for withdrawal after 1 Oct and/or absence]
The event is fully subsidized by HKUST Connect. If you are unable to participate in the event as schedule, you should send us a written notification to connect@ust.hk as soon as possible, but no later than 1 Oct 2025 (Wed). Students who withdrawn after the deadline or absent from the event will be charged a HKD200 program fee.
3. [HMAW1905] The is a recognized event in the "Self-directed Experience" component of HMAW1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness. You need to attend the event in full to get 2.5 hours.
4. Upon completion of the service, the actual service hours will be subjected to the confirmation of the partner association.
