As temperatures continue to rise, heat impacts are becoming more severe. Recent hot days and nights in Southeast Asian cities and Hong Kong have demonstrated the urgent need for action to address urban heat extremes. The Division of Environment and Sustainability of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) cordially invites you to attend the 2-day conference on urban heat extremes to learn about the latest research and strategies for mitigating the impacts of rising temperatures in urban areas.
