HKUST(GZ) Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition Final Round
The 3MT® competition is a renowned international event that challenges postgraduate students to effectively explain their research in just 3 minutes to a non-specialist audience. The presenters of our event include 10 PhD and MPhil students who have delivered exceptional presentations in the preliminary round earlier this month. They have been polishing their performances and are eager to share their research with you.

14:00 - 14:10: Welcome by MC, Opening Remarks by Dr Clive Lee (Head of DLE)
14:10 - 15:00: 3MT Presentations
15:00 - 15:25: Judge Deliberation, Audience Voting, Tea Break
15:30 - 15:40: Announcement of Winners, Award Ceremony
15:40 - 15:50: Lucky Draw
15:50 -16:00: Closing Remarks by Prof. Lionel Ni (President) and Prof. Jingsheng Wu (Vice President for Teaching & Learning)

We encourage you to arrive 20 minutes early to sign in and secure your seat. The event will commence promptly at 14:00, and we kindly request that you refrain from entering or exiting the venue during the presentations to minimize disruptions.
