Flag Raising Ceremony on 1 Oct - Celebration of the 74th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China in HKUST

Time: 10:30 am (*Flags will be raised at 10:30am sharp. Registration counter at Shaw Auditorium opens at 9:30am)
Ceremony Location: HKUST South Gate - the new flag poles located near Shaw Auditorium

All campus users are also reminded to take note of the following traffic and transport arrangements which will be implemented between 8:30am and 11:30am on the day.
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements at University Road (08:30 am - 11:30 am)
During the period of Temporary Traffic Management implementation on the event day, vehicular access between the Roundabout of South Gate and the Lee Shau Kee Campus will be temporarily closed from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Guests, staff members, and students traveling to the campus by car must use the North Gate and display a valid parking permit to enter the campus. Taxis can enter the campus through the North Gate only. Those who arrive near the South Gate during the stated time will be required to wait outside the ceremonial area until the flag raising ceremony concludes.
