Traffic violations pose significant threats to public safety, including issues such as unfasten seatbelts and mobile phone use while driving. Traditional solutions rely on fixed cameras installed on traffic poles to monitor and analyze images, aiming to detect abnormal driving behavior. However, drivers often exhibit improved compliance with traffic rules when they approach known locations with fixed law enforcement devices.

This presentation introduces an innovative solution that involves deploying on-vehicle enforcement devices on law enforcement vehicles to address violations that occur while vehicles are in motion. Additionally, the speaker will discuss the challenges encountered when implementing this system in real-world projects, highlighting the potential benefits of this novel approach to enhancing traffic safety.
