The Diversity and Equal Opportunities Unit and School of Science at HKUST are delighted to invite you to a cultural diversity game jam facilitated by Press Start Studios. It is an interactive and energizing workshop that is not to be missed!
Date and time: 12-2pm, 3 June 2025 (Event registration starts at 11:45am; Light food and beverages will be provided.)

Highlights:
- Participants will be able to brainstorm their own ideas for game-based interactive learning experiences to shed light on a cultural diversity topic of their choice, to experience the design process first-hand.
- Learn more about cultural diversity and inclusion as a topic actively with reflections and creativity via small-group game design sessions
Audience: Open to all HKUST staff and students

About Press Start Studios
Based in Hong Kong, Press Start Studios is an edutainment media studio that designs award-winning games for education and impact. Through engaging game experiences and expert game design consultancy services for international partners and high-impact clients, the Press Start team aim to leverage games and interactive media to educate, inspire, and empower individuals to make a difference. Their debut retail game, the creative storytelling card game Fiero!, was funded through a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in 2024, has already reached over 1,000 players, and is now available at Bookazine stores across Hong Kong.

To receive 2 hours, you must attend the event in full and miss no more than 10 mins.
