Media Technology and Publishing Center and Shaw Auditorium Unit are thrilled to present the highly anticipated Campus Cinema Screening Event Series to kick-start this new academic year!
Following the exciting voting, the first film we will be showcasing is Oppenheimer, which won 7 Oscars in 2024.
Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, stars by Cillian Murphy - the film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin. It explores the story of American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his pivotal role in the development of the first nuclear weapons.
The film will be presented in English, with Chinese subtitles.

- Film Classification: IIB (NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG PERSONS AND CHILDREN 青少年及兒童不宜)
- Children under 12 years old will not be admitted.
