Call for Proposals – IEMS Research Grants 2022

Since 2013 the HKUST IEMS Research Grants have supported high-quality research that provides valuable insights into the challenges facing societies, businesses and governments in emerging markets. In line with previous years, the 2022 round also welcome research proposals in the following areas:
- Human capital, employment, and structural change
- Innovation and entrepreneurship
- Economic integration
- Financial development
- Firms, markets, and strategies
- Behavioural studies
We also welcome proposals that contribute to advancing the Institute’s research on the following topics: the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia.
Applications from all HKUST faculty and post-doctoral fellows are welcome. Priority will be given to research proposals in the abovementioned areas.
The deadline for proposals is 23:59 Sunday March 27, 2022. Decisions will be announced in April 2022. All applications must follow the guidelines available here and the proposal form here.
