2023 HKUST ICDC Annual Symposium
We are delighted to announce that the ECE Dept. of HKUST and the IEEE SSCS Hong Kong Student Chapter will host the 2023 HKUST ICDC Annual Symposium from August 9th to 10th. In addition to maintaining the strong relationship and fostering new research collaboration with academies and industries, we are thrilled to introduce the new blood in ICDC—our incoming elite faculties.
Given the increasing complexity of modern IC fabrication design flow, Symposium these years aim to address the challenges and explore the opportunities of “IC Design for a Brave New World”. The Symposium will cover a broad range of IC design including:
- Keynotes: AI chip, bioelectronics, emerging architecture for AI applications, etc.
- Faculty talks: Low power circuit design, compute-in-memory (CIM) architecture and design automation, “Shift Left” in VLSI, advances in high-speed links, millimeter-wave phased array system for 6G, etc.
- Alumni talks: high-efficiency low-EMI isolated DC-DC converters, IC for optical wireless communication and detection, etc.
- Student presentations: SRAM-based CIM design, predictive power-meter in hardware accelerator for DNN, wireless power & data transfer system, LO generator with automatic phase and DTC calibration, millimeter-wave phased array system for SWIPT, etc.
The Symposium will be held in mixed mode.
