We are excited to announce the International Young Scientist Workshop on Atmospheric Environment (IYSAE 2026), which will take place in Hong Kong from January 26–31, 2026. This workshop invites leading experts and early-career researchers from around the world to join an interactive forum dedicated to advancing knowledge in atmospheric chemistry, air quality, and climate interactions.
Building on the legacy of the Young Scientist Workshop on Atmospheric Environment, IYSAE 2026 continues its mission to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation in the field. The program will feature cutting-edge research presentations, dynamic discussions, and opportunities for networking, providing a unique platform for young scientists to explore breakthroughs, emerging trends, and novel technologies in atmospheric sciences.
The workshop will encourage multidisciplinary collaboration across diverse areas, including ambient observations, laboratory studies, chemical transport modeling, machine learning and AI applications, and the health impacts of air pollution.
Conference Themes
The workshop will delve into several key themes, including but not limit to:
1. Atmospheric Reactive Nitrogen and Their Environmental Impacts
2. Atmospheric Reactive Organics: From VOCs to OAs
3. Health Impacts Assessment and Indoor Air Quality
4. The Interplay Between Extreme Weather and Air Quality
5. Development of Measurement Technologies and Sensors for Air Science
6. Al + integrated Air Quality Forecasting and Modelling
7. Additional Topics on Climate and Air Quality
We will invite leading scientists to chair each thematic session and curate a dynamic program that includes Invited Talks, Panel Discussions, PICO presentations, and Poster Sessions.
More importantly, the meeting will emphasize advancing the frontiers of science through the presentation of cutting-edge, unpublished research. Ample time will be dedicated to discussion after each talk, and the format will foster informal interactions among participants at all career stages, promoting collaboration and idea exchange.
