"Rock Your Chair" Reels competition
We're excited to invite HKUST students to join the "Rock Your Chair" Reels competition. “Rock Your Chair “ is a campaign to promote the awareness of wellbeing and encourage students to take a break and unwind in the chairs. One of the HKUST 2028 Sustainability Challenge goals is to promote community wellbeing. We aim at creating a relaxing space for our community to enjoy.
You now have a chance to create your own Reel video on Instagram that showcases your creative way of using the Rocking Chairs which are now at the SSC Hub (near Passione). Here are 5 simple steps to join:
- Form a team of 1-3 students
- Upload a reel video (within one minute long) that demonstrates how your group uses the Rocking Chair and highlights the relaxation or socializing features. The chair must be filmed within the academic building area and returned to the original spot.
- Follow @hkust_sustainbility and tag us for the reel video
- Share your reel video on your story
Awards
Champion: $300 Starbucks coupon
2nd place award: $200 Starbucks coupon
3rd place award: $100 Starbucks coupon
The best top 5 videos will be showcased at the SSC Hub large TV wall next to Passione restaurant.
Judging criteria
- Social media performance - number of likes received (30%)
- Evaluation by Sustainability/Net-Zero Office (70%) on creativity, ability to demonstrate the relaxation/socializing features and engagement to audience
