Mr. Brian Chen has over 19 years of diverse experience in the semiconductor industry ranging from supply chain management to marketing. Prior to InnoGrit, Mr. Chen served as Vice President of Operations at Spreadtrum Communications, responsible for procurement, production management, yield engineering, production testing, packaging design, quality control, and information technology across more than ten locations worldwide. He led a team of more than 200 people and managed supply chain business of over $1.2 billion. Before Spreadtrum, Mr. Chen worked at TSMC North America in several positions and was promoted as the youngest ever account manager. Mr. Chen holds a bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Taiwan National Tsinghua University and a master's degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
Mr Matthew Leung is currently the director of Huawei Hong Kong Research Center, which focusing in the development of hardware, software and algorithm for artificial intelligence. Prior to that, he served as the director and a founding member of HiSilicon (A subsidiary of Huawei) Hong Kong R&D Center. He is an expert in VLSI design for advanced communication chipsets, microprocessors and artificial intelligence. Mr. Leung received his BSc and MSc degrees of Electrical Engineering in University of Michigan. Before joining HiSilicon, he worked in Marvell Semiconductor, ASTRI, Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer, etc.
Dr. Howard Luong received his BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) from University of California at Berkeley. Since September 1994, he has joined the EEE faculty at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology where he is currently a professor. In 2014, he was appointed as the first MediaTek Endowed Visiting Professor in IC Design at Nanyang Technology University in Singapore. Professor Luong's research interests are in RF and mm-Wave integrated circuits and systems for wireless and portable applications. He was a co-author of three technical books and a book chapter on frequency synthesizers, oscillators, frequency dividers, and switched-opamp switched-capacitor filters. Professor Luong is an IEEE Fellow. He is currently serving as a technical program committee member of IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) and of IEEE Radio-Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFIC). In addition, he has also been an Associate Editor of IEEE Solid-State Circuits Letters (SSCL) and of IEEE Virtual Journal on RFIC (VJ-RFIC). He was an IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society Distinguished Lecturer from 2012 to 2014.
