Research globally and in Hong Kong, has shown that individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ have far higher risk of mental health struggles compared to the none-LGBTQ+ population. It is therefore important for non-LGBTQ+ individuals to understand the risk faced by the LGBTQ+ community and how to better support the community.
In this talk, you will learn more about

- What is affirming support
- Considerations when helping someone seek support
- How to build resilience and maintain positive mental health
