Dr. Lau is a seasoned finance practitioner with over 20 years’ analytics, compliance, operations, research and risk management experiences from multi-national banks and vendors. His subject matter expertise includes building enterprise-wide risk management framework, enhancing effectiveness of business decision making with analytics, strengthening corporate governance structure of organizations and streamlining management reporting processes. In addition to industry experiences, Dr. Lau is also passionate in education. He develops and delivers academic and executive education programs for corporations, professional associations and universities. He has practical experiences in teaching financial modelling, programming, quantitative analysis and risk management. In recent years, Dr. Lau actively engages in the development and delivery of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and FinTech related programs.
