Medical Device Administrative Control System (MDACS) in Hong Kong and its Development

While currently there is no legislation to regulate the medical devices (MDs) in Hong Kong, the Department of Health (DH) has established a voluntary system named Medical Device Administrative Control System (MDACS) since 2004 to facilitate the transition to the long-term statutory control and protect the public health.
