Wildlife monitoring provides valuable information for conservation, research and disease management, but most wildlife monitoring methods are expensive and labour intensive. This presentation will cover our research on applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to monitor wildlife in new and more effective ways, overcoming the limitations of current monitoring methods. We present our integrated framework for data collection and annotation, AI method development and validation, to improve feedback loops between AI and ecological data. We also present our wildlife data annotation tool and method for wildlife data synthesis.
