Schwarzman Scholars is a one-year, fully-funded master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, designed to build a global community of future leaders who will strengthen understanding between China and the rest of the world. Central to the program are world-renowned advisers, a rigorous and innovative study of global affairs and hands-on exploration of Chinese culture and commerce. Scholars graduate with a valuable set of cross-cultural leadership skills, a diverse and meaningful network of leaders and career-defining learning experiences.

 

Schwarzman Scholars is currently recruiting Schwarzman Scholars for Class of 2027-2028 (12th Cohort). Undergraduates and postgraduates who are graduating before 2027 August, aged between 18 to 28, are eligible for the current admissions cycle. Up to 150 students globally will be admitted for the current cycle and all students are granted for a comprehensive scholarship including tuition, boarding, health insurance and etc. Upon completion of the program, Schwarzman Scholars will be awarded with the Master Degree of Global Affairs from Tsinghua University.

 

Application details:

  • There are two application timelines for China and US/Global applicants.
  • China application portal is now open until May 20 while US/Global application portal will be open from mid-April to late September.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interviews in Beijing, London and New York depending on their citizenships and geographic locations. Interview expenses will be covered by the program.

Light refreshment will be provided. Seats are limited. Please register for the Information Session as soon as possible through HERE. The session will be held in hybrid mode. If you cannot attend the info session in person (please indicate during registration), Zoom link will be provided upon successful registration.
