How to Make a Better Invention Disclosure?
About the Talk
An invention disclosure is a crucial process to commercialize your technology and research! It may be the finishing touch of an R&D project, but it is also a starting point of the patenting process.
A good invention disclosure will help the patent drafting in terms of speed and quality, it will help setting the appropriate protection scope, and ultimately raise the chance of patent grant and the value of the IP.
A good invention disclosure should include at least a statement of the problem that the invention is trying to solve, the highlight of main inventive/unique features, and enough technical details to allow someone to re-create your invention. A prior art search result will also be very helpful.
In this seminar, we will discuss a systematic way of making great invention disclosures, and show how to conduct an effective prior art search.
