HKUST Ocean Day 2025 : Field Trip to Sharp Island

On the occasion of HKUST Ocean Day 2025, the Department of Ocean Science will host a field trip to Sharp Island on 8 February 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to immerse yourself in hands-on marine science activities and gain practical experience in the field. You will have the chance to conduct water sampling and participate in Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) deployment activities.

Time:  9:30 – 14:00 (Lunch included)

Transportation: Coach will be arranged from TKO MTR station (TBC) to Sai Kung Public Pier

Dismissal point: Sai Kung Public Pier

Please note that the quota is limited. Preference will be given to Year 1 SSCI students who are interested in the BSc in Ocean Science and Technology. A confirmation email will be sent to successful registrants by 4 February 2025.
