Redefining Blockchain Security
Abstract:
Did you know that attacks on blockchain technology, particularly within the realm of Decentralized Finance (DeFi), have led to a staggering loss of over $5 billion? In this presentation, Liyi will share his vision for transforming the blockchain landscape by introducing a suite of advanced vulnerability detection, intrusion prevention, and intrusion detection tools that he is developing. He believes these innovations have the potential to significantly enhance the security and resilience of DeFi systems.
Liyi Zhou is a Computer Science Lecturer at the University of Sydney, and the co-founder of D23E.ch. Liyi’s focus is on security and privacy issues, with the ultimate goal of developing generalized AI in system/software security to identify vulnerabilities, much like how Noam Brown created the first Poker AI. Liyi has authored six papers in the top four security conferences, and has been awarded three Ethereum academic grants.
