“The Foshan-HKUST Projects”, a funding scheme sponsored by the Government of Foshan Municipal City, is an upgrade from “The Nanhai-HKUST Projects” based on a recent agreement among HKUST, the Foshan Municipal City Government, and the Foshan Nanhai District Government. In 2019, up to 35 million RMB of R&D grants will be allocated to HKUST and its mainland platforms. In order to provide all potential applicants a better understanding of the funding scheme, Prof. Shi-Wei Ricky Lee, Dean of Fok Ying Tung Graduate School, will offer a briefing session to the faculties, research staffs, and entrepreneurship makers of HKUST.
