[Call for Nominations] 2025 Thetos Distinguished Teaching Award (for teaching track faculty)
The Thetos Distinguished Teaching Award (TDTA) has been established by Thetos Foundation Hong Kong to encourage teaching-track faculty at the University to strive for their teaching excellence and to support their teaching advancement project and personal development. The Award was first launched in 2024. We are pleased to announce that the second round of nominations for the 2025 award is now open.
The Thetos Distinguished Teaching Award (TDTA) has been established by Thetos Foundation Hong Kong to encourage teaching-track faculty at the University to strive for their teaching excellence and to support their teaching advancement project and personal development. Nominations for the 2025 TDTA are now open. All full-time teaching-track faculty members (Lecturer II, Lecturer I and Senior Lecturer) are generally eligible for the award.
Two awardees will be selected annually. Each awardee will receive a cash prize of HK$25,000 in recognition of his/her teaching excellence and a project fund of HK$150,000 to support his/her teaching advancement project(s), as well as supporting the personal development initiative(s) related to his/her teaching area(s).
