[Call For Applications] 2024 HKUST One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition （Foshan Region） 港科大百萬獎金創業大賽佛山賽區——誠邀報名參賽

2024 HKUST One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition (Foshan Region), co-organized by FSC, FCTTC and FRISM, has set up 7 awards with rewards reached RMB 1,000,000 this year. The event is still open for applications, with deadline on 15 October 2024. Applications from all technical fields and regions are welcome. We are now cordially inviting all students and faculty members of HKUST to submit their high-quality projects to compete in this regional Competition, and subsequent to compete for the grand award at the annual Grand Final Million Dollar Competition event congregating all the winning teams from 5 regions in late 2024.

佛山賽區自2018年舉辦以來，得到社會各界人士的大力支持和持續關注，六年共募集參賽項目近700個，頒發獎金近450萬元；其中，2020年及2022年，佛山賽區項目勇奪兩屆全國總冠軍，分別獲得100萬人民幣獎金。除此之外，佛山賽區緊密結合當地產業特色，聯合多個科創平台開展專項賽，並搭建資源對接和成果轉化平台。

2024港科大百萬獎金創業大賽佛山賽區由佛山市香港科技大學LED-FPD工程技術研究開發中心（FSC）、香港科技大學（佛山）科技成果轉化中心（FCTTC）和香港科技大學佛山智能製造研究院（FRISM）聯合承辦，並在佛山市人民政府、佛山市南海區人民政府的大力支持下，於8月21日正式啟動報名。

佛山赛区以“向‘新’而为，港科当先”为主题，圍繞佛山市重點發展的新興產業，瞄準新質生產力、低空經濟、具身智能共3大方向，全新推出「主賽道+分賽道」模式，结合「各赛道独立评审+专项直通赛」的评审形式。大賽設置冠军（獎勵總值¥40万）、亞軍（獎勵總值¥30万）、季軍（獎勵總值¥20万）、騰飛獎、創智獎、未來可期獎、科創新星獎共七大獎項，獎勵總值達¥100萬元！

佛山賽區将於10月15日截止報名，誠摯邀請港科大教授及學生團隊協優質項目報名參賽。
