Speaker:
Mr. Martin Tan

Martin Tan is the CEO of The Majurity Trust, a philanthropic organization in Singapore that works with donors and charities to build a thriving community in Singapore. Martin serves as board member of Ray of Hope, National Council of Social Service, Children's Museum Singapore, and Halogen Foundation Singapore (which he co-founded in 2003). He formerly served on the boards of National Library Board, National Family Council and National Youth Council.

He was the Executive Director of Institute for Societal Leadership at Singapore Management University and has worked with leaders in various sectors across 14 countries as a motivational speaker and leadership facilitator. Martin was awarded The Outstanding Young Person Award (2008), inducted as Asia 21 Fellow (2011), Singapore Youth Award (2013), and appointed as Global Council Member of Asia Society (2019).

Remarks:
1. Complete 3 GUTS talks/workshops to get a certificate of participation.

3. To avoid interruption and hindering the progress of the session, facilitators may not admit new participants who are late for more than 10 minutes.

4. [HMAW1905] This is a recognized event in the "Self-directed Experience" component of HMAW1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness. To receive 1 hour 15 minutes, you must attend the event in full and miss no more than 10 mins.
