Sustainable Smart Campus Student Competition 2023- Watch and Vote for your favorites

We are proud of the excellent entries in this year’s SSC Student Competition, and encourage you to learn about them. Please CLICK HERE to watch their videos and check out their posters now! Entries include ideas on innovative and people-centric solutions that will make our campus a much more sustainable place to enjoy.

Please vote on your favourite entries. Each staff and student can vote for up to five entries in each category. The voting period ends on 3 December 2023. 

The top five successful group proposals will have a chance for budget and support to implement their projects on campus. The top five innovative proposals will each receive a HK$2000 cash award! Voting results will be consolidated with the votes from the SSC Committee members to determine the category winners.

We hope this is just the beginning!

The Evaluation Committee selected these top entries from each category and concluded that each of them were innovative ideas that have potential for implementation on our campus.

However, to make this a reality, we’ll need active support. If you are interested in getting involved to further develop one of these project ideas, we’d love to hear from you. Please let us know at ssc@ust.hk. If you are a faculty member, please consider creating a UROP or USEL or take an idea for a class project. If you are a staff, consider becoming a student mentor to help them move the project forward. If you are a fellow student, please volunteer to join a project team.
