HKUST Fun Day - "Timeout HKUST" and Official Launch of the University Anthem

Under the theme of Work Hard Play Hard, the HKUST Fun Day - “Timeout HKUST” is scheduled to take place on March 31 (Friday) offering a wide array of activities from student performances, lucky draw, game & food booths, photo corner to origami exhibition with mini workshop.   You will also have a chance to join a sharing session by the world-renowned origami artist Liu Tong (link).

A kick-off ceremony which also marks the official launch of the HKUST University Anthem will be held during lunch time at the Atrium.   Come join us to witness this memorable and historical moment of HKUST!

12:50 – 1:15pm:  Performance by HKUST Students as tee-off for “Time out HKUST”

1:15 – 1:40pm:    Official Launch of the University Anthem

3:00 – 3:45pm:    Sharing and Demo by Origami Artist Liu Tong @Citi Lecture Theater (LT-A)

                             Moderated by Prof Wang Yang, Vice-President for Institutional Advancement

1) Our theme of “Timeout HKUST” is Work Hard Play Hard – so we do encourage colleagues to join the event anytime during the opening hours.  If you would like to join the event during office hour, you are recommended to seek prior approval from your supervisors.
