Description:

There are many commonalities between feeding and eating disorders. Both distinctions are characterized by a disordered relationship with food in some way. Feeding disorders are more often associated with infants and children, while eating disorders are commonly found in teens and adults. Despite these associations, either condition can be present at any age. In this talk, Dr Michelle Chan will cover the following topics:

  • What is Feeding and Eating disorders ? 
  • Factors contributing to Eating disorders 
  • Is parenting a factor? 
  • Identifying high risk groups 
  • How to help and self-help?
