The Division of Arts and Machine Creativity is launching its first graduation show, When Experience Returns Otherwise, bringing together work by AMC students and invited artists. The exhibition draws on Hong Kong's vibrant creative scene and the University's unique focus on art and technology.
The show features moving images, immersive installations, interactive systems, paintings, and digital work that all grapple with a core question: how does technology change the way we experience and remember things? Rather than treating art and tech as separate, the works here use one to examine the other—revisiting memories, bodily sensations, and cultural moments through new media.
This inaugural show demonstrates both the aesthetic range and technical ambition of the first AMC cohort. It's a glimpse at where interdisciplinary art practice is headed.
We cordially invite the public and art practitioners to witness the innovative artistic expressions of emerging young creators.
