Since 2020, Technology Seeding Programme (TSP) was launched by Guangzhou HKUST Fok Ying Tung Research Institute(FYTRI) for supporting overseas tech startups with innovative technologies and commercialization potentials to grow in Nansha, Guangzhou in the form of offering a total of RMB 700k TSP fund for three years, entrepreneurial guidance, R&D facilities as well as market promotion.

For startup that is eligible to be selected for TSP, consisting of at least one team leader who is an associate professor or above in renowned overseas university and two core team members, FYTRI shall expect them to work in Nansha.
