With consumers becoming more environmentally and health-conscious, more firms are tapping into the market of developing meat alternatives. Among these include Ice Age!, a local ice cream maker who has partnered with Perfect Day - a US-based food technology company backed by Li Ka-Shing's Horizons Ventures - in developing and launching ice creams that use pure animal-free dairy protein.

We are excited to have guest speakers from Horizons Ventures and Ice Age! to introduce the trend of synthetic biology development and technology of Perfect Day and the entrepreneurial experience of the founder of Ice Age!
