Staff Volunteering Crossroads Foundation
Crossroads Foundation is a Hong Kong based, non-profit organisation serving global need. It provides aid for relief and development in over 90 countries. Through providing logistic support, sorting different donation materials, and helping with the repairing and maintenance work, staff volunteers can make a difference to the lives of people living in vulnerable circumstances.
HKUST staff can take special leave and take part in this volunteering service which connects people in a world of need.

Date: 21 Feb 2025 (Friday)
Time: 12:45pm-5pm
No. of participants: 20
Coach will be arranged to leave campus piazza at 12:45pm to the Crossroads Foundation (in Tuen Mun) and pick up participants from Crossroads Foundation at 5pm to Tuen Mun MTR station.
Expected nature of work: Staff are expected to do practical work, such as sorting, packing items of food/clothes into boxes and unto pallets, repairing computers and appliances, loading items into trucks or moving furniture.
