Science and China Lecture Series|The Spotlight on the New Generation of Information Technology: Digitization, Networking, and Intelligence 新一代信息技术的聚焦点：数字化、网络化、智能化

The fundamental way to perceive human society and the physical world is digitization, the fundamental way to link human society and the physical world through cyberspace is networking, and the way cyberspace acts on the physical world and human society is intelligence. Digitization, networking, and intelligence are the core of the new generation of information technology. The key technologies generated by them are big data technology, internet technology, and artificial intelligence technology, respectively. This lecture provides an overview of the technical principles, fundamental problems, and development trends of digitization, networking, and intelligence.

The Chinese Academy of Sciences has organized a serial scientific event with the theme of “Science and China Approaching Greater Bay Area”. Next Monday, in the name of this serial event, we are honored to invite Prof. Zongben XU, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to give us a lecture about the new generation of information technology at our university.
