OCES Seminar: Principles of scientific writing

Dr. Simpkins is the founding Chief Editor of Nature Reviews Earth & Environment, where he also handles the ‘Weather & Climate’ remit of the journal. He has previous editorial experience at Nature Climate Change and Nature Communications. Prior to transitioning into editorial roles in 2016, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of California Irvine, USA, and completed his PhD at the University of New South Wales, Australia. His research focused on tropical-extratropical interactions in the Southern Hemisphere.
