MentorHUB event: Welcome to the REAL World with 1 on 1 Consultation Session
In this sharing session, our mentor Mr. Tom CHUI, Founder & Director of Inclusive Impact HK, will share what's to be careful between 0 to 1 for student entrepreneurs so that you can have better preparation for your startup journey.

The sharing session will be divided into two parts:
(Part 1) Sharing by Mr. CHUI (18:00-18:30) Students who are interested in this sharing topic can join.
(Part 2) 1 on 1 Consultation session with Mr. CHUI (18:30-19:15) Students who are having or plan to build their startup can join. Pre-registration is needed for this part and successful teams will be assigned a timeslot for meeting with Mr. CHUI for closed door online consultation.
Remarks:
1. Students who are interested in this event, you are suggested to register as member of MentorHUB@HKUST before registration. Priority in joining this event will be given to the members of MentorHUB@HKUST.
2. You can only join the sharing by Mr. CHUI. However, for the consultation session, pre-registration is needed and timeslot will be assigned by the organizer and confirmed by email. Successful registrants for the consultation will have 15 mins 1 on 1 closed door consultation with Mr. CHUI.
3. Successful registrants for the sharing session (and consultation) will receive a confirmation email for the zoom link on or before 25 Nov 2020. Thank you.
Brief biography of Mentor
Mr. Tom CHUI is a unique "People & Purpose Driven" individual, with International leadership and people management experience in Advertising, Banking, Church, Social Enterprise, and the field of badminton. Tom started his career in advertising with clients such as Coca-Cola and Honda, a two times D&AD Advertising Workshop National Awards winner. Took his first second-curve in career two years later into banking, promoted from a cashier position to a Multi-millions Pounds Portfolio Manager within seven years in HSBC UK, then was headhunted by HSBC China into a Senior Management position. He took his third career curve by dropping his well-paid banking position and worked in a Purpose-driven church, called Saddleback. In 2018, after ten plus years of passion within the field of Diversity & Inclusion, Tom founded a social enterprise called Inclusive Impact, which focuses on Corporate training and at the same time creating employment for people with disabilities in Hong Kong.
Last but not least, an International Badminton Coaching license holder and Post GB Paralympic Badminton coach and International Umpire.
