LAPSO – “Press to shock - Save a life” CPR & AED Course (Cantonese Course)

[postponed due to bad weather on 9 Oct] Student Leaders are invited to join “Press to shock - Save a life CPR & AED Course” to equip you with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in emergency situations. In the event of sudden cardiac arrest, knowing how to perform CPR and use an AED can mean the difference between life and death for the victim. Hence, we highly recommend you to learn so as to better protect participants in your society’s activities. The course will be conducted by the trainer from the Hong Kong Fire Services Department, Fire and Ambulance Services Academy of HKSAR. Please find the course details below:

Course Title: “Press to shock - Save a life" CPR & AED courseDate: 13 Nov 2023 (Monday)Time: 09:30 – 12:00 (2.5 hours)Venue: Multi-function Room, LG5 Student Amenities (Lift 10-12, Entrance near McDonald’s)Instructor: Hong Kong Fire Services Department, Fire and Ambulance Services AcademyMedium of instruction: Cantonese (廣東話)Quotas: 15pax (first-come-first-served basis) Notes:

1. Participants are required to watch three online lecture recordings before attending the course in person.
2. Participants should wear comfortable clothing that enable them to perform CPR on the floor without much difficulty.
3. Participants should be fully aware of the terms and conditions of the course as stated in registration form. Acceptance of the terms and conditions is a prerequisite for attending the course.
   
   

*** This is a workshop under the Leadership Advancement Program for Student Organizations (LAPSO), your attendance will be counted towards the Award Scheme. Participate actively and get an award for your society/group. ***
