It’s Time to Grow! Come meet Rooftop Republic’s (urban farming startup) CEO Andrew Tsui!

05:30pm - 07:00pm
Online via Zoom

Greetings from Entrepreneurship Center and the BASE Team (Student Entrepreneurship Team)!

What does “Urban Farming x City Lifestyle” mean to you?

Imagine you are on the 38th floor rooftop building in Central yet being surrounded by green beds of spinach, sweet potatoes and fresh kale.  Does that sound surreal?

Many city dwellers are amazed by how easy it is to grow their own food once they tried it.

Andrew create win-win on all sides by utilizing idle city space and build a sustainable food eco-system for our next generations, with close to 70,000 s.f. installed farm so far!

Andrew Tsui, CEO & Co-Founder of ROOFTOP REPUBLIC, will share his visions and startup journey on how he founded Rooftop Republic to promote better community engagement, healthier food source and inspire our next generations to better preserve the environment.

So don’t wait, come join us and meet Andrew!

Date & Time: 15 Sep 2020 (Tuesday), 5:30 – 7:00 pm HK Time

Venue: Online via Zoom

Speaker

Andrew Tsui is the CEO and co-founder of Rooftop Republic (https://www.rooftoprepublic.com/). Andrew is a social change maker, an entrepreneur and an urban farmer.

Having grown up in both Hong Kong and Singapore, which are highly urbanised and heavily reliant on imported food, Andrew realised the potential of urban spaces in Hong Kong.  He wants to make a difference in the relationship people had with their food, and with Andrew’s background in real estate and civil engineering, he co-founded the social enterprise Rooftop Republic in 2015.
