In this presentation, we will present RIOT. RIOT is a free and open-source operating system for constrained IoT devices. Founded in 2013, it is developed by a grassroots community gathering companies, academia, and hobbyists, distributed all around the world. RIOT aims to implement all relevant open standards supporting an Internet of Things that is connected, secure, durable, and privacy-friendly. RIOT is not only used in commercial products but also serves as a platform for research experiments to publish top-tier papers.
