International SOS is HKUST’s partner in travel health and safety assistance.  All HKUST students have access to their 24/7 resource on call, online and even on the ground to help with medical, security and logistical questions, concerns, and any emergency situations.

International SOS is here for helping you stay safe while abroad. It is not insurance, and it is more than just a helpline.  

Topics covered are specifically relevant to your exchange destination: 

1. When International SOS can help (stolen/lost passport/wallet/phone, terrorist attack, gun shooting situation, fall sick abroad)
2. Tips for avoiding danger, threats, risks when abroad
3. COVID-specific issues (quarantine, country announcements, sudden changes to border control, flight cancellation)
