HKUST Water Sports Festival 2023

The new Water Sports season is coming and the “HKUST Water Sports Festival 2023” is returned this year!   The event will be held on 15 April (Saturday), 10 am – 5 pm, at the breathtaking coastal line of our campus.

The “Ritual of Dragon Awakening” performed by HKUST Dragon Boat Team will kick off in the morning on Festival Day.  The first-ever “Celebration Parade-on-the-Sea” with different water sports crafts mastered by course participants and registered users of HKUST Water Sports Center will be the highlighted event.

Activities on the day:

Morning Session (Free walk-in. All are welcome to the Promenade to enjoy the Parade.)

11:00             The Ritual of Dragon Awakening and Celebration Parade-on-the-Sea

Afternoon Session (Advance Registration is needed)

14:15             Dragon Boat Paddling with U Team (three sessions) 

14:15             Experience Coastal Rowing along the shore (four sessions) 

14:15             Wave breaking with Kayak (three sessions) 

14:15             Windsurfing on the land with simulator (four sessions) 

14:15             Yacht cruising to Port Shelter (two sessions) 

14:30             Splashing with Speedboat (six sessions)
