HKUST Start-up Series: Integration of Sustainability and Entrepreneurship - A Story about Upcycling Bread Waste

HKUST Start-up Series invites aspiring UST-entrepreneurs to introduce and share the ideas behind their projects in order to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among the HKUST community.

HKUST Team Breer aims to upcycle bread waste to tasty craft beer and has ultimately created a sustainable local beer brand. Join the sharing session to walk through the entrepreneurial journey with Breer from ideation to fundraising, prototyping, connecting with caterers and business partners, and launching their initial product. Find out the reasons why this team composed of four young HKUST undergraduates are willing to devote their time and effort to this social entrepreneurship that creates unimaginable social impact.
