HKUST Arts for Fall 2024 - Sound of English Strings

Introducing Asiartic Camerata: a dynamic string chamber ensemble rooted in Hong Kong, uniting passionate young professionals from across Asia and beyond. Renowned for their individual artistry and collective synergy, these musicians have graced prestigious stages alongside esteemed orchestras such as the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, and Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra.

Prepare to be enraptured as Asiartic Camerata presents a captivating program spotlighting masterpieces by eminent English composers of the 19th and 20th centuries, meticulously crafted for string orchestras. With a rich tapestry of sound woven by talented string musicians, this performance promises to transport you on a musical journey like no other.

藝亞室樂團是植根於香港的室內弦樂團，匯聚了來自亞洲及世界各地的年青音樂家。樂團以個人藝術造諧及團體協奏而聞名，曾與香港小交響樂團、香港城市室內樂團、莫斯科國家交響樂團以及深圳交響樂團等知名樂團同台演出。

藝亞室樂團將於逸夫演藝中心呈獻一場精彩節目，曲目選自19和20世紀享負盛名的英國作曲家的作品，包括英國最偉大的作曲家之一艾爾加、20 世紀英國音樂的核心人物布烈頓、自學有成的作曲家和音樂評論家沃洛克等。這些作品經過精心編排，專為弦樂而譜寫。藝亞室樂團的演繹必將帶領觀眾踏上一段獨特的音樂之旅。

• Late-comers will be admitted only if there is a suitable break in the performance.
