With the aspiration to “Keep Cities Moving”, MTR strives to connect and grow communities with inclusive, innovative and sustainable services.

As a low-carbon transport service provider, MTR has set forth three environmental and social objectives: (1) Social Inclusion, (2) Advancement and Opportunities, and (3) Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction, and defined 10 focus areas and a set of key performance indicators to create a greater impact for society.

This seminar will provide the audience with MTR’s approach to further embedding environmental and social principles within the Corporation to deliver value for all of its stakeholders. Initiatives regarding MTR’s decarbonisation roadmap, social inclusion and empowering people and communities through its network will be discussed.

Ms Jessica Chan
MTR Corporation Limited

Jessica is the Head of Sustainability of MTR Corporation responsible for formulating sustainability strategies and driving sustainability initiatives for the company. Jessica is a seasoned sustainability professional with over 25 years of experience in environmental and corporate sustainability with diverse expertise in sustainability strategies, sustainability communications and disclosure, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and emerging sustainability issues. She is a member of various international and local sustainability-related committees and the Board of Examiners of HKMA’s Hong Kong Sustainability Award.
