Global Dialogue Series with Consul General of Israel:
The Origins of the Start-Up Nation
(CORE1905-recognized*)
In recent decades, a range of unfolding trends are shaping the world. Unprecedented global challenges are impacting the world on multiple fronts. As global citizens, we can play a part to contribute in building a better world with innovative technologies and new perspectives. To promote a culture of diversity and collaboration, the Global Engagement and Greater China Affairs team presents the Global Dialogue Series, bringing together Consuls General from different countries for sharing and exchanging ideas on international issues.
At this inaugural event, we are honored to invite Mr Amir Lati, Consul General of the State of Israel in Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR to share on the essence of Israeli innovation with a holistic perspective – how necessities, geopolitical situation, government, R&D, education and Jewish culture nurture Israeli creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, and how this unique Israeli startup and technology ecosystem functions. The sharing will be followed by a fireside chat with Professor Naubahar Sharif, Acting Head and Professor of Division of Public Policy.
