Pi Day (14 March 2024), an international festival dedicated to the mathematical constant, is just around the corner! To celebrate Pi Day with your fellow HKUST community members, The Global Engagement & Communications Office (GECO) is thrilled to invite you all to a fun-filled Pi Day celebration, near the Padma and Hari Harilela Lecture Theater (LT-C) at HKUST.

 

 

GET FREE PIES?

  1. Get two pies if your student/staff/alumni card or personal HKID card number contains the digits 3, 1, and 4 (in any order).
  2. Share two pies with your friends if your card contains either 3,1 or 4 but your friend’s card contains the remaining digits

*Each person can only show one type of card.

 

BLIND CIRCLE DRAWING CHALLENGE- WIN HKUST SOUVENIRS

  1. With your back turned, draw a perfect circle on the whiteboard.
  2. Remember, the starting and ending points of your circle must be connected.
  3. You'll have three chances to take on this challenge!

  • Morning Session: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • Afternoon Session: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
