InsurTech (Insurance Technology) is a rapidly growing sector in FinTech.   Insurance, as an integral pillar of the financial industry, has traditionally been known for its long history and high entry barrier.  With over US$1 billion of investment per annum recently, InsurTech is quickly embracing a spectrum of technology adoption, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT) (or Connected Insurance), and Analytics/Big Data. These developments have transformed the business models of some traditional insurers, and at the same time attracted new entrants.  As a result, numerous new and exciting career opportunities in InsurTech emerge.  We are delighted to have three prominent leaders from both insurance and technology companies, to share the latest developments in InsurTech.
